Keysight Unveils 10BASE-T1S and nGBASE-AU Automotive Ethernet Test Solutions
Keysight will unveil two in-vehicle Ethernet test solutions at AEC in Germany: a 10BASE-T1S Receiver Test Solution with Open Alliance TC14 PMA Suite 5.2.1 compliance, BER verification and multi-drop zonal testing; and an nGBASE-AU optical solution compliant with IEEE 802.3cz featuring TDFOM measurements. These target software-defined vehicle networks.
1. Conference Debut
At the Automotive Ethernet Congress in Germany, Keysight will demonstrate its latest in-vehicle network test solutions at booth B-07, showcasing two new products designed to validate next-generation automotive Ethernet performance.
2. 10BASE-T1S Receiver Test Solution
The 10BASE-T1S Receiver Test Solution offers automated compliance testing for multi-drop network architectures, meeting Open Alliance TC14 PMA Suite 5.2.1 requirements. It includes BER verification under impaired channel and coupled-noise conditions, a media converter, ringing board and MDI adapters to support zonal and edge-controller applications.
3. nGBASE-AU Optical Test Solution
The nGBASE-AU optical test solution delivers full compliance with IEEE 802.3cz Amendment 7 and Open Alliance TC7 specifications, featuring a TDFOM measurement suite (OMA, ER, AOP, OAR). It integrates with Keysight DCA-M oscilloscopes (N1092A/C) with N1077B clock recovery and offers an intuitive FlexDCA automation interface.
4. Strategic Impact
By targeting high-speed zonal architectures and software-defined vehicles, these test solutions position Keysight to capture growing demand for advanced automotive Ethernet validation tools. The new offerings could accelerate automaker development cycles and bolster Keysight’s automotive test equipment market share.
