Kia unveiled its 2027 EV3 at the New York International Auto Show, a right-sized electric SUV offering up to 320 miles of range and DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 29 minutes with native NACS plug-and-charge compatibility. The vehicle features available all-wheel drive, Vehicle-to-Load power output, a dual 12.3-inch display cockpit with Plug and Charge, and an advanced ADAS suite ahead of its U.S. launch in late 2026 as Kia’s most affordable electric SUV.

Built on Kia’s E-GMP platform, the EV3 supports DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 29 minutes on Light trim models and features a native NACS plug-and-charge port. Standard Plug and Charge functionality through the Kia Access app simplifies user experience and enhances charging efficiency.

3. Range, Performance, and Drivetrain Options

The EV3 delivers up to a Kia-estimated 320 miles of all-electric range on select trims and offers available all-wheel drive with advanced i-Pedal 3.0 technology and Smart Regeneration. Vehicle-to-Load capability turns the SUV into a mobile power source for devices, expanding its utility beyond transportation.

4. Infotainment, Safety, and Launch Timeline

Inside, the EV3 comes standard with dual 12.3-inch dash displays and a 5-inch climate screen, alongside a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and eight airbags. An optional entertainment and data package adds streaming video services, and U.S. deliveries are slated to begin in late 2026.
