Kimberly-Clark COO Russ Torres to exit for external CEO role
KMB•Kimberly-Clark President and COO Russ Torres plans to leave for an external CEO role and remain through November to support the transition. The company also assigned executives to oversee integration planning and synergy delivery for its pending Kenvue acquisition, with additional leadership changes planned after closing.
1. Leadership changes
Jeff Melucci will oversee integration planning for Kimberly-Clark’s pending Kenvue acquisition, while CFO Nelson Urdaneta will oversee synergy delivery plans. Following the deal’s close, Kenvue’s Carlos De Jesus will lead Kimberly-Clark’s North America segment; Leonardo Curado will become president of EMEA effective Jan. 1, 2027, as Carlton Lawson steps down at the end of 2026.
