Kirby Q2 FY26 EPS flat at $1.67 year over year; revenue rises 7.82% to $922.4 million

Kirby posted Q2 2026 net earnings attributable to shareholders of $89.7 million, flat year over year, with EPS at $1.67, up 11% sequentially.

Revenue rose 7.82% year over year to $922.4 million, led by a 9% gain in marine transportation to $537 million.

Marine transportation operating income fell to $87.8 million, cutting the segment margin by 3.7 percentage points to 16.4%.

Distribution and services revenue climbed 6% to $385.4 million, lifting operating income to $38.2 million as power generation demand stayed strong.

Full-year EPS growth guidance stayed at 5%-15%, with results expected to trend toward the upper end; $59.7 million was spent on buybacks.
