KKR-backed Industrial Physics acquires Vitrek from Branford Castle

Industrial Physics, backed by KKR funds, acquired Vitrek from Branford Castle’s fund to expand electronic test and precision measurement capabilities.

Vitrek operates the Vitrek, MTI, and GaGe brands, supplying electrical safety testing and power analysis equipment for regulated industrial end-markets.

The deal closed on signing; financial terms were not disclosed.

KKR plans to extend Industrial Physics’ employee ownership program to Vitrek’s workforce.
