KKR Real Estate Finance Trust’s October 29 third-quarter earnings call featured CEO Matt Salem and President Patrick Mattson, along with CFO Kendra Decious and investor relations head Jack Switala. The company reported a GAAP net loss of $6 million, or $0.11 per share. Quarterly loan repayments reached $1.2 billion, bringing year-to-date repayments to $2.4 billion, compared with a $2 billion full-year expectation.
Salem warned that reserves could rise as asset resolutions advance, with some transactions now likely to extend into the first half of 2027. The strategic review remains ongoing, and the company has retained financial and legal advisers. Share buybacks became constrained after the review was announced in July.
