Kratos teams with KT SAT, Druid Software and GCT Semiconductor on 5G connectivity demo
KTOS•Kratos completed a multi-partner 5G non-terrestrial network demonstration with KT SAT, Druid Software and GCT Semiconductor using its OpenSpace virtualized ground platform. The test achieved end-to-end, multi-vendor connectivity and two-way communications.
1. 5G network demonstration
The demonstration connected Kratos’ OpenSpace RAN, Druid’s Raemis 5G Core and GCT’s GDM7275X-based 5G user equipment. The system performed cell search, registered on the core network and established two-way communications.
2. Satellite connectivity goals
The test supported interoperability goals for satellite-based 5G services.
