Kroger ranked in the 2026 Axios Harris Poll 100 as one of America’s most visible and trusted companies, based on a survey of 16,000 consumers. Since 2017 Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste program has funneled $2.1 billion into hunger relief, while Kroger Health backed DSN’s #FillHealthCareGaps campaign targeting 80,000 projected physician shortages.

Kroger secured a position in the 2026 Axios Harris Poll 100 ranking, reflecting its standing as one of the nation’s most visible and trusted companies. The survey gathered feedback from 16,000 Americans evaluating trust, culture, ethics, vision, products and services, relevance, character and trajectory.

2. Impact of Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Program

Since 2017 Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste initiative has directed $2.1 billion toward hunger relief, rescued 935 million pounds of surplus food and provided 4.4 billion meals to families in need. The program’s recent community efforts included packing over three million meals during Kroger Community Days, with further city expansions planned for 2026.

3. Kroger Health’s Role in Pharmacy Campaign

Kroger Health joined DSN’s #FillHealthCareGaps campaign alongside other major retailers to highlight community pharmacies’ capacity to address a projected shortage of 80,000 primary care physicians by 2030. The initiative features a dedicated website, video content and LinkedIn engagement to promote pharmacy-based care access across the U.S.
