1. Kroger’s 4X Fuel Points Spring Weekend
Kroger will run two Spring Weekend events March 27–29 and April 3–5, rewarding shoppers with four times the Fuel Points on grocery and eligible purchases via digital or in-store coupons. Boost by Kroger Plus members earn 5X points, and all points are redeemable for cents-per-gallon discounts at participating fuel stations.
2. Krispy Kreme JV Restructure and Japan Sale
Krispy Kreme increased WKS’s stake in its Western US joint venture from 45% to 80%, transferring 23 company-run shops into the JV, and sold its Japan business for nearly $70 million. Combined net proceeds of about $160 million will fund debt paydown, while the JV’s expanded network includes over 1,000 fresh delivery points through retailers like Kroger.
