Kyivstar Acquires Six Lviv Solar Plants in UAH3.6B Deal, Adds 105 MW

These assets produced 113 GWh in 2025, generating UAH 682 million revenue and UAH 596 million EBITDA, raising Kyivstar’s green energy portfolio to 118 MW (~30% of consumption).

Kyivstar acquired six solar power plants in Ukraine’s Lviv region for UAH 3.6 billion (USD 80.8 million), bringing 105 MW of installed capacity into its energy generation segment.
2. Asset Performance in 2025
These plants produced about 113 GWh of electricity in 2025, delivering UAH 682 million in revenue and UAH 596 million in EBITDA before integration.
3. Expansion of Green Portfolio
With the new addition, Kyivstar’s total green energy capacity rose to 118 MW, enabling production of roughly 30% of its annual electricity consumption.
4. Operational and Strategic Benefits
Kyivstar will feed the solar output into Ukraine’s unified energy system at market prices under green tariffs, enhancing its ability to hedge electricity costs and support its growing connectivity demand.
