Kyivstar’s Uklon Launches In-App Marketplace with Flower Delivery Pilot
KYIV•Uklon, Kyivstar’s subsidiary ride-hailing platform, has launched Uklon Store beta in Kyiv, offering in-app flower purchases with scheduled delivery via local florists. This asset-light marketplace aims to introduce a high-margin revenue stream, leverage existing logistics, and test monetization before rolling out additional categories.
1. Marketplace Launch
In June 2026 Uklon Store was introduced in beta as a new in-app marketplace within the Uklon ride-hailing app in Kyiv, enabling users to purchase flowers with scheduled delivery through local florist partners.
2. Beta Flower Category
The Flowers category serves as the initial pilot, leveraging Uklon's last-mile network to offer seamless ordering, checkout, and delivery, while validating demand and unit economics for high-margin asset-light commerce.
3. Strategic Benefits
The marketplace provides Kyivstar with a scalable, margin-accretive revenue stream by monetizing Uklon's engaged user base and existing logistics infrastructure, aiming to boost user frequency, retention, and ecosystem monetization.
4. Future Expansion Plans
After refining the model in Kyiv, Uklon plans to roll out additional high-frequency categories across its 27-city Ukrainian network, targeting accelerated GMV growth without capital investment in delivery assets.
