L3Harris signed a framework agreement with the Department of War and Lockheed Martin to quadruple THAAD propulsion production under a multi-year contract.
The seven-year award covers THAAD solid rocket boost motors and liquid divert and attitude control systems; the contract is expected to be definitized later this year.
Manufacturing expansion across multiple sites
The expansion supports capacity increases across L3Harris solid rocket motor sites, including new facilities and added manufacturing space in Alabama, Virginia, and Arkansas.
