Rising demand for AI chip production has driven major foundry and memory manufacturers to expand capacity, increasing service calls for Lam’s fabrication and test equipment. The additional hires will allow Lam to accelerate response times and support rollouts of next-generation etch and deposition systems critical to AI node scaling.
