Laser Photonics appoints Dmitri Nikitin executive chairman

Laser Photonics appointed founder Dmitri Nikitin executive chairman and principal executive officer on October 16, succeeding Wayne Tupuola, who resigned for medical reasons effective October 13.

1. Leadership change

Nikitin will exercise CEO responsibilities, and the company does not plan to appoint a separate CEO. Ann Tewari’s interim presidency ended October 13; she returned to her previous role as global vice president, operations and strategy. Nikitin has more than 35 years of laser technology experience.
