LASE•Laser Photonics secured a six-figure order from REXA for its 2kW CleanTech CTIR-3040 system, marking entry into REXA’s manufacturing process. The handheld unit, capable of 240 sq ft/h laser surface roughening, is intended to enhance coating adhesion and could pave way for future automated orders.

Laser Photonics received its first six-figure purchase order from REXA, a manufacturer of Electraulic™ actuators for power, oil and gas, and process industries. The order covers the CleanTech CTIR-3040, a 2 kW handheld laser system to roughen actuator surfaces before powder coating.
2. Product Capabilities and Growth Potential
The CTIR-3040 combines a 2 kW fiber laser, dual-axis scanner, five preset patterns and built-in water chiller, delivering up to 240 sq ft/h of surface treatment. While deployed handheld, the system can integrate with industrial robots or Class 1 safety work cells, positioning Laser Photonics for potential expansion into automated solutions.
