Anthropic is funding laboratory testing of 5,000 protein designs using Twist's synthetic DNA, Leerink says. The brokerage says Anthropic's Claude analyzed complex laboratory data in 19-23 minutes, potentially allowing researchers to move more quickly to subsequent experiments. It adds that early protein-design results are promising, but more data and lab testing are needed to develop formats suitable for medicines.
