Leishen Energy Advances Port of Jubail Facility for Compressors and Energy Storage
Leishen Energy’s Saudi subsidiary, LSE Energy International, is finalizing land arrangements and feasibility studies to build a Port of Jubail facility producing reciprocating compressors, flexible composite pipes and energy storage systems. The localized site is designed to supply reconstruction equipment across Saudi Arabia and GCC markets, underpinning long-term growth.
1. Facility Development
Leishen Energy’s subsidiary LSE Energy International has finalized industrial land arrangements near the Port of Jubail and completed its feasibility study, advancing local regulatory approvals. The site is planned to host manufacturing lines for reciprocating compressors, expanders and flexible composite pipes.
2. Product Portfolio and Localization
Production will include Christmas tree equipment, wellhead control panels, inverters and energy storage systems alongside compressors and pipes. Full compliance with Saudi localization requirements is expected to optimize local sourcing and meet national content targets.
3. Post-Conflict Reconstruction Opportunity
Recent conflicts have damaged pipelines, compression stations and energy storage facilities across the Middle East, creating a reconstruction market. Leishen Energy intends to supply high-reliability equipment to restore critical oil and gas infrastructure.
4. Long-Term Regional Growth Strategy
The company views Saudi Arabia and neighboring GCC markets as core to its expansion, with this facility serving as a regional hub. Future plans include strategic partnerships and expanded localized manufacturing across the Middle East and Africa.
