LENZ Therapeutics Q3 VIZZ sales jump 50% sequentially on strong demand
LENZ•LENZ Therapeutics said Q3 VIZZ sales rose 50% from the prior quarter. The company posted a $30.97 million net loss and expects 2027 operating expenses of $70 million to $75 million, excluding stock-based compensation, after a reorganization intended to cut expenses by more than 50%.
1. VIZZ sales grow
VIZZ sales rose 50% sequentially in Q3, which LENZ attributed to growing consumer awareness and increased telehealth adoption. A telehealth prescribing option launched in July accounted for more than half of incremental Q3 prescriptions, while a nationwide TV and digital marketing campaign helped drive new patient acquisition.
2. Loss and cost plans
LENZ reported a Q3 net loss of $30.97 million, with operating expenses of $36.30 million. The company plans to implement a reorganization in Q4 2026 to prioritize high-impact sales initiatives and improve efficiency, targeting a reduction of more than 50% in 2027 operating expenses. It expects those expenses to be $70 million to $75 million, excluding stock-based compensation. LENZ said VIZZ sales momentum is continuing into Q4 as consumer awareness grows.
