Telenet named Rocío Lorenzo CEO effective Nov. 2, 2026, replacing John Porter, who will support the handover through the end of 2026 and remain chairman of Wyre.

Telenet, part of Liberty Global’s Ziggo Group, named Rocío Lorenzo as CEO effective Nov. 2, 2026. John Porter will step down and support the handover through the end of 2026 while remaining chairman of Telenet network infrastructure company Wyre. Lorenzo will report to Ziggo Group CEO Stephen van Rooyen. Ziggo Group is working toward a planned Euronext Amsterdam listing in 2027.
