Libya signs production-sharing agreement with Chevron

Libya's National Oil Corporation signed a production-sharing agreement on Monday with U.S. energy giant Chevron CVX.N after awarding oil and gas exploration blocks to Chevron and other foreign oil companies earlier this year.

“This agreement represents a significant step towards exploring and developing Libya's resources,” NOC chief Massoud Suleman said in a statement.
