LifeMD Joins Wegovy Subscription Program, Enrolling Patients at $249 Monthly
On March 31, Novo Nordisk launched a Wegovy subscription program through telehealth partners Ro, WeightWatchers and LifeMD, offering 3-, 6- or 12-month plans at $249 monthly for injection and pill versions. LifeMD’s platform will enroll patients directly, increasing its telehealth revenue as a 7.2 mg injection option is added.

Novo Nordisk rolled out its multi‐month Wegovy subscription program on March 31 via telehealth platforms Ro, WeightWatchers and LifeMD, with Hims & Hers and Sesame set to join later. Eligible self‐pay patients can enroll through LifeMD’s app or website for seamless access.

The program offers 3-, 6- and 12-month plans priced at $249 per month for both injection and pill versions, locking in monthly pricing regardless of dose adjustments. Cash-pay patients still access lower-dose Wegovy pills for $149 per month, rising to $199 in September, while the recently approved 7.2 mg injection dose will be incorporated into subscriptions later.
