Lincoln Educational Services to Invest $10M in 36,000 sq ft Maryland Campus Serving 500 Students
LINC•Lincoln Educational Services will open its 25th campus in Suitland, Maryland, occupying 36,000 square feet and investing $10M in a focused-program model offering Electrical & Electronic Systems Technology and HVAC training. The campus is expected to serve 500 students and generate $15M revenue and $5M EBITDA by Q4 2027.
1. New Campus Launch
Lincoln Educational Services announced its second Maryland campus in Suitland, marking the company’s 25th location. The new facility spans approximately 36,000 square feet and is positioned south of Washington D.C. with direct access to Interstate 495.
2. Focused-Program Model
The Suitland campus will exclusively offer Electrical & Electronic Systems Technology and HVAC programs under a focused-program approach. This model reduces typical buildout costs to $10M versus $25M for traditional campuses, creating a more capital-efficient expansion strategy.
3. Financial Projections
Slated to open in Q4 2027, the campus is projected to enroll around 500 students. At full capacity, it is expected to generate $15M in annual revenue and $5M in EBITDA, compared to $30M revenue and $10M EBITDA for standard new campuses.
4. Strategic Expansion
This Maryland addition follows recent openings in East Point, Georgia, and Houston, Texas, and complements an existing Columbia, MD campus. The move supports Lincoln’s long-term plan to address skilled trades shortages and enter high-demand markets with scalable, cost-effective facilities.
