Linde signs six renewable power PPAs in EMEA, APAC regions to source 0.63 TWh a year
LIN•Linde signs renewable power PPAs across EMEA and APAC
Linde signed six power purchase agreements to source renewable electricity across Europe, Africa, and India.
The PPAs will supply about 0.63 TWh a year from new wind and solar assets for operations including Spain, Greece, and South Africa.
Low-carbon power accounts for about 50% of global electricity use; active renewable purchases rose to 7.6 TWh in 2025 from 2.8 TWh.
The agreements support a target to cut absolute emissions 35% by 2035.
Linde said it helped customers avoid 98 million metric tons of CO2e in 2025, more than double its operational emissions.
