1. Q1 Operational Performance

Lithium Argentina's Cauchari-Olaroz operation produced 9,660 tonnes of lithium carbonate in the first quarter, operating at 97% of design capacity for a second consecutive quarter. The facility achieved cash operating costs of $5,391 per tonne, reflecting ongoing optimization efforts that reduced unit costs through structural and operational improvements.

2. Financial Results

The company generated $168 million in revenue in the first quarter, with an average realized price of $16,818 per tonne, delivering net income of $49 million and adjusted EBITDA of $106 million. Cash and cash equivalents rose to $97 million by March 31, and the completion of a $130 million debt facility from Ganfeng enhances financial flexibility.

3. Stage 2 Expansion and Resource Growth

Plans are advancing for a Stage 2 expansion at Cauchari-Olaroz to add 45,000 tonnes per annum of LCE capacity, underpinned by a 42% increase in Measured and Indicated resources to 28 million tonnes of LCE at 562 mg/L lithium. RIGI permitting is expected in the second quarter, with a scoping study and comprehensive development plan due by mid-2026.

4. Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Initiatives

Lithium Argentina continues to develop the PPG integrated project targeting 150,000 tpa of LCE across three phases with Ganfeng and strategic partners. The company is pursuing a secondary ASX listing to broaden its investor base and is set to receive RMAP conformant status to reinforce responsible production credentials.
