Expenses, credit losses and balance sheet growth
Noninterest expense fell 1% year over year to $85 million, pushing the efficiency ratio down 7 percentage points to 54.1%.
Provision for credit losses increased 28% from Q1 2026 to $26 million, with about 45% tied to growth.
Loans grew 16% year over year to $13.14 billion; deposits rose 16% to $14.55 billion as checking balances jumped 63% to $469 million.
