LivePerson delayed its shareholder special meeting on a proposed transaction with SoundHound AI to Sept. 2 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Revised proxy voting deadline is set for Sept. 1 at 11:59 p.m. ET; previously submitted proxies remain valid.
Preliminary results show more than 97% of votes cast support the deal, though total votes remain short of a majority.
The deal requires approval from a majority of all outstanding shares, making non-votes effectively count against the merger.
