Investment plan through 2030
Lockheed Martin outlined $8-$9 billion of investment through 2030 to modernize more than 20 U.S. facilities to scale munitions output.
Expansion targets higher PAC-3 MSE output, with plans to triple production capacity by end-2030 under a seven-year contract action worth up to USD 53.86 billion.
New and expanded production facilities
New capacity includes an 87,000-square-foot Building 47 in Troy, Alabama to support THAAD interceptors, with future work tied to NGI.
Missile Assembly Building 5 opened in Courtland, Alabama in June to scale NGI production using fully digital engineering and manufacturing.
