Loop Industries posted Q1 FY2027 revenue of USD 179,000, down 28.97% year over year, entirely from engineering services for the India JV.
Net loss narrowed to USD 3.39 million, from USD 3.45 million a year earlier; loss per share was USD 0.07, unchanged.
Cash operating expenses were USD 1.6 million, down USD 1 million year over year, while cash and cash equivalents fell to USD 1.06 million at May 31.
Partnership and project updates
Loop Industries signed an LOI with a major global apparel company targeting up to 15,000 metric tons a year of PET resin under a multi-year offtake framework.
The Europe JV selected BASF Industriepark Lausitz in Schwarzheide, Germany, for its first facility; the project moves into engineering and permitting expected to generate revenue this fiscal year.
