1. Industry-Leading CFP® Achievement
LPL Financial announced that as of December 31, 2025, a record 6,200 affiliated financial advisors have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, the highest total in the industry. This milestone reflects LPL’s multi-year investment in integrated planning technology, practice management support and specialized paraplanning resources. According to Cerulli data, more than half of investors desire a written financial plan, and LPL’s suite of tools—anchored within its ClientWorks platform—enables advisors to deliver efficient, scalable planning-led advice. Executive Vice President Tara Popernik highlighted that CFP® certification reinforces the firm’s commitment to fiduciary standards and elevates the quality of wealth management across its network.
2. Strategic Advisor Recruitment with Moto Wealth Partners
LPL’s Linsco channel has secured wealth advisors Breanne Bovara, CPWA®, and Derrick Petry, CFA®, as founders of the newly formed Moto Wealth Partners. Transferring from Fifth Third Private Bank, the duo brought an estimated $2 billion in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets. Based in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, Moto Wealth Partners targets high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with a boutique, planning–first approach that integrates cash flow analysis, tax strategies and estate structuring. LPL’s platform—providing operational autonomy, cutting-edge fintech and a comprehensive client engagement ecosystem—was cited by the team as a key driver in their decision to affiliate, enabling them to expand service capabilities and deepen client relationships.
3. Expansion of ETF No Transaction Fee Sponsorship
LPL Financial further broadened its investment solutions by adding four Main Management ETFs—BUYW, SECT, TMAT and INTL—to its ETF No Transaction Fee (NTF) program. This initiative enhances the firm’s commitment to cost-effective portfolio construction, allowing advisors to incorporate thematic, sector-focused and international equity strategies without trading commissions. The expanded NTF lineup supports LPL’s goal of delivering diversified, lower-cost exposure to key market segments, reinforcing its position as a leading wealth management partner for independent advisors and financial institutions.
