Luca Mining Intersects 118m of 2.53 g/t Gold at Largo Norte Zone
Luca Mining Corp's underground hole CMUG-26-38 at Campo Morado intersected 118.2 metres grading 2.53 g/t Au, 77.89 g/t Ag, 0.76% Cu and 1.99% Zn, extending mineralization in the unmined Largo Norte zone. Hole CMUG-26-39 returned 100.7 metres of 2.80 g/t Au and 90.72 g/t Ag, further expanding high-grade VMS mineralization.
1. Expanded Largo Norte Mineralization
The company completed four underground drillholes at the unmined Largo Norte zone, with CMUG-26-38 intersecting 118.2m at 2.53 g/t Au, 77.89 g/t Ag, 0.76% Cu and 1.99% Zn, while CMUG-26-39 returned 100.7m of 2.80 g/t Au and 90.72 g/t Ag. Additional holes CMUG-26-37 and CMUG-26-41 yielded 77.1m of 2.31 g/t Au with 47.05 g/t Ag and 71.0m of 1.57 g/t Au with 20.12 g/t Ag outside current resource limits.
2. Ongoing Exploration Program
Exploration continues with two surface rigs and one underground rig targeting extensions beyond current resource boundaries. Combined with earlier CMUG-26-36 results, these intercepts have expanded mineralization up to 20m beyond defined extents, supporting future resource updates.
