LU•Shareholders to vote on note maturity extension
Lufax shareholders will vote on extending Ping An Overseas Holdings' Convertible Promissory Notes maturity by one year to Oct. 8, 2027.
An extraordinary general meeting is scheduled on or around Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026.
The extension price is set at US$29.38 million, payable on Oct. 8, 2026; principal outstanding totals US$507.99 million.
The board said the terms are fair and reasonable, on normal commercial terms or better, and in shareholders’ interests.
The meeting will also seek a specific mandate to issue conversion shares; Ping An Overseas Holdings and An Ke Technology will abstain.
