LNAI•Lunai Bioworks secured its first multi-year, revenue-generating U.S. defense contract via BioSymetrics to deploy its AI-driven chemical threat assessment platform, supported by a new Pathfinder Consortium of five leading research institutions. 1. Defense Contract Secured
In April 2026 Lunai Bioworks signed its first revenue-generating, multi-year collaboration with the U.S. government to deploy its AI-enabled Augusta platform for chemical threat assessment, marking a transition from research to active commercial engagement.
2. Pathfinder Consortium and Authorization Bill Alignment
Lunai assembled the Pathfinder Consortium with Harvard University, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, University of Utah, Purdue University, and University of Colorado to support its chemical threat assessments, aligning its Augusta platform capabilities with requirements of the 2027 Defense Authorization Bill for AI-driven high-throughput biological screening.
3. Precision Neurology Partnerships and NIH Grant
Parallel to biodefense, the company advanced its Augusta AI platform in epilepsy, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s through a BrainStorm Therapeutics collaboration and secured a $1.85 million Phase I/II STTR grant for alcohol use disorder, reinforcing its biology-first discovery approach.
4. Litigation Targets 29.6M Fails-to-Deliver
In May 2026 Lunai filed suit over 29.6 million anomalous fails-to-deliver—81.6% of outstanding shares—highlighting peak trading of 554 million shares in one day, and obtained expedited discovery to identify parties alleged to have engaged in naked short selling and restore shareholder value.
