MagnaChip Q2 FY26 net loss turns to USD 4.8 million; net sales fall 6.1% to USD 44.7 million

MagnaChip Semiconductor posted a net loss of $4.8 million, swinging from net income a year earlier, as net sales fell 6.1% to $44.7 million.
Operating loss widened to $10 million, while gross profit slipped to $8.6 million and gross margin narrowed 1.1 percentage points to 19.3%.
Adjusted EBITDA loss from continuing operations widened to $4.2 million; adjusted loss from continuing operations was $4.9 million, or $0.13 per share.
Segment performance
Power Analog Solutions net sales declined 4% to $40.6 million, while Power IC net sales dropped 23% to $4.1 million.
Strategic partnership and plan
MagnaChip entered a July 2026 strategic partnership with Navitas to license silicon-carbide technology for high-voltage power markets; a Gumi substation upgrade is planned for Q3 2026.
