MFC•MFC•MFC•Manulife appointed Sinéad O’Connor chief actuary effective Oct. 12, 2026, and she will join its executive leadership team.
O’Connor most recently led global inforce management and previously served as deputy chief actuary, head of group actuarial and US IFRS chief actuary. Derek Houle will serve as appointed actuary until she completes Canadian FCIA accreditation. O’Connor succeeds Stephanie Fadous, who died last month.
