Refinery coker unit upset leads to flaring

Marathon's 631,000 barrels per day Galveston Bay, Texas refinery experienced a coker unit upset which resulted in flaring above the reportable quantity, according to a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality filing on Thursday.

The filing added the unit was stabilized to stop flaring.
