Marten Transport Q2 FY26 net income falls 25.7% to $5.3 million; revenue dips 2.8% to $223.5 million

Second-quarter results
- Marten Transport posted Q2 net income of $5.3 million, or $0.07 a share, down 25.71% from a year earlier.
- Operating revenue slipped 2.8% year over year to $223.5 million; fuel surcharge revenue rose to $38.3 million from $26.1 million.
- Operating income fell 28.99% to $6.9 million; operating expenses rose to 96.9% of operating revenue from 95.8%.
