On March 11, Mastercard launched its Crypto Partner Program with more than 85 crypto-native firms, payment providers, and financial institutions to enable practical integration of tokenized money into existing remittance, B2B, payout, and settlement rails, shifting focus from speculation to deployable infrastructure.
2. Coinbase x402 Facilitator Expansion
On March 11, Coinbase extended its x402 Facilitator payments tooling to Polygon, joining Base and Solana, and offered gas sponsorship plus built-in compliance features to support machine-native commercial activity such as pay-per-request API monetization and automated settlement.
3. Circle USDC Deployment and Audit
On March 11, Circle went live with USDC and CCTP stablecoin settlement on the Morph Layer 2 network, enabling cross-chain transfers and enterprise-grade scalability, and disclosed completion of a SOC 1 Type 2 examination of its Mint system covering October 2024 to September 2025 to enhance institutional assurance.
