Matthews International directors Dietze, O’Brien to step down ahead of 2027 annual meeting
MATW•Directors Katherine E. Dietze and Morgan K. O’Brien will not seek re-election at Matthews International’s 2027 annual meeting, supporting a plan to reduce the board from 10 members to eight. Michael J. Whitehead will become president and CEO on Aug. 31, 2026, and J. Michael Nauman will become chairman at the 2026 annual meeting.

Matthews International said directors Katherine E. Dietze and Morgan K. O’Brien will not stand for re-election at the 2027 annual meeting. Their departures support a plan to reduce the board to eight directors from 10. Michael J. Whitehead was appointed president and CEO effective Aug. 31, 2026, succeeding Joseph C. Bartolacci; J. Michael Nauman was appointed chairman effective at the 2026 annual shareholders meeting.
