McCormick awarded a total of $105,000 in scholarships to six student-athletes. Tempris Harrison and Avery Ray received the two principal Charles Perry McCormick scholarships of $40,000 each over four years, while four others earned $7,500 and $5,000 grants at the May 11 ceremony in Baltimore.

The Unsung Heroes program, established in 1940, recognizes unselfish student-athletes for team play and leadership. This year’s nominees exceeded 100, with winners selected based on community impact, resilience, and dedication, reflecting McCormick’s commitment to the Power of People ethos.

The in-person event was hosted at the M&T Bank Exchange in Baltimore’s France-Merrick Performing Arts Center and featured keynote speaker Justin Forsett, nine-year NFL Pro Bowl veteran and CEO of Hustle Clean. A Q&A session moderated by Scott Garceau further celebrated student achievements and company values.
