MediaCo Appoints Robert Greene as Board Chair, Elevates Amit Thakar to Audit Chair
MDIA•MediaCo names Robert L. Greene as independent Board Chair and Compensation Committee Chair, replacing Deborah McDermott who remains on board; Amit Thakar is elevated to Audit Committee Chair. 1. Board Chair Transition
After serving as independent Chair, Deborah McDermott relinquished her roles as Board Chair and Compensation Committee Chair but will continue as a director and Compensation Committee member. Robert L. Greene, President & CEO of the National Association of Investment Companies, was appointed independent Board Chair and will lead the Compensation Committee.
2. Committee Leadership Reshuffle
With Greene moving to Board Chair, Amit Thakar was named Chair of the Audit Committee, succeeding Greene and overseeing financial reporting and controls. Greene’s dual role shift concentrates governance leadership under experienced members with deep industry and oversight backgrounds.
