1. MediaTek System-Level Integration for TPU
MediaTek has elevated its AI business from chip and ASIC design to full system-level integration, initially targeting the PCB assembly (L6) for Google’s TPU v10, codenamed Icefish. The company aims for 40–50% gross margins by leading design and validation while outsourcing manufacturing, viewing this repositioning as a long-term strategy with minimal near-term earnings impact.
2. Google AdExchange CTV Seller Trust Leadership
In Q1, just 4.1% of Google AdExchange’s connected TV inventory was resold through arbitrage, the lowest rate among all digital channels. The platform ranked as the top ‘Direct’ seller across major US CTV platforms, outperforming competitors like Xandr Monetize and Index Exchange in programmatic trust metrics.
