Medtronic posts 24-month TITAN 2 data showing sustained nocturia reduction with Altaviva device
MDT•Medtronic disclosed exploratory 24-month results from the TITAN 2 pivotal trial, showing sustained reductions in nightly urination episodes and improved sleep-related quality of life for many patients. The company also launched a five-year post-approval study tracking 170 implanted patients at up to 30 U.S. centers.
1. TITAN 2 results
Medtronic presented new exploratory results from its TITAN 2 pivotal trial at the 47th AUGS Annual Scientific Meeting. The analysis showed durable reductions in nightly urination episodes, while sleep-related quality of life improved for many patients.
2. Post-approval study
The update supports the clinical profile of Altaviva, an implantable tibial neuromodulation device cleared in September 2025 for urge urinary incontinence. Medtronic launched the ENDURANCE post-approval study, a five-year real-world trial tracking 170 implanted patients across up to 30 U.S. centers.
