Merck says experimental skin disease drug meets main goal in mid-stage study
MRK•Merck said tulisokibart met the main goal in a mid-stage study of hidradenitis suppurativa, with 72% of patients on the highest dose achieving at least a 50% reduction in lesions after 16 weeks, versus 35% on placebo.
1. Study results
Up to 41% of patients receiving tulisokibart achieved at least a 75% reduction in lesions, compared with 15% on placebo. Merck said safety was comparable between the treatment and placebo groups.
