Merck to present Phase 3 data on once-weekly HIV treatment at HIV Glasgow 2026
MRK•Merck will present HIV treatment and prevention data at HIV Glasgow 2026, including analyses of once-weekly islatravir/lenacapavir. The FDA accepted two supplemental applications for IDVYNSO, with decisions due April 22, 2027.

Merck will present oral HIV treatment and prevention data at HIV Glasgow 2026, scheduled for Nov. 8-11 in Glasgow, Scotland. Upcoming analyses of once-weekly islatravir/lenacapavir will examine patient subgroups and treatment experiences; previously presented Phase 3 findings showed maintained viral suppression.
2. Applications and trial updates
The FDA accepted two supplemental applications for IDVYNSO covering previously untreated adults and longer-term data, with decisions due April 22, 2027. Presentations on once-daily IDVYNSO will cover resistance, weight and patient-reported outcomes. Adult enrollment is complete in both Phase 3 trials of the once-monthly HIV prevention pill alimatravir, and participant demographics will be presented.
