Mercury Systems secured contracts totaling more than $60 million for two U.S. national security programs, extending a strategic weapons development contract through 2031 with additional flight-testing unit deliveries. The company also won a second award to supply its radiation-tolerant wideband storage and processing subsystems featuring AMD Versal AI Core FPGAs and 4.5 TB drives.

1. Mercury Wins Over $60 Million in U.S. Space and Weapons Contracts

In December, Mercury Systems secured contract awards totaling more than $60 million for two U.S. national security programs. One award extends a strategic weapons development contract—originally won in 2023—through 2031, under which Mercury will deliver additional radiation-hardened flight-testing units. The second award, from a space systems prime, tasks Mercury with supplying subsystems for a classified national security satellite program. These wins underscore Mercury’s leadership in radiation-tolerant data and signal processing and bolster its backlog for the next five years.

2. Advanced Subsystem Production Leverages AMD Versal AI Core FPGAs

Mercury’s new space contract is the second for its wideband storage and processing subsystem, which integrates AMD Versal AI Core series FPGAs and 4.5 terabyte data drives that entered production late last year. The first contract, awarded in 2024, culminated in a successful critical design review this month, validating performance against all operational requirements. The maturity of this design positions Mercury for rapid production ramp-up and enhances margins by reducing engineering re-work on future satellite builds.

3. Q2 Fiscal 2026 Results and Investor Webcast Scheduled

Mercury Systems will report second quarter fiscal 2026 financial results on February 3, 2026, after market close, followed by a 5:00 p.m. ET conference call and webcast. Management plans to discuss revenue trends, year-over-year margin improvements, cash flow outlook and potential impacts of defense spending shifts. The company encourages investor registration at ir.mrcy.com/events-presentations at least 15 minutes before the call. A replay will be archived for six months, providing transparency into Mercury’s execution on its strategic plan.
