META•Meta launched monthly subscriptions priced between $2.99 and $19.99 for its apps and projects 360 million subscribers could generate $20 billion in revenue by 2030. Truist maintains a Buy rating and sees 44% upside after ad sales surged 33% to $56.3 billion last quarter.

Last month Meta rolled out subscriptions for Facebook Plus ($3.99/month), Instagram Plus ($3.99), WhatsApp Plus ($2.99), and Meta AI with $7.99 basic and $19.99 premium tiers.

Truist projects these services could attract over 360 million subscribers by 2030, generating $20 billion in annual revenue, and reiterates a Buy rating while forecasting 44% upside.

Digital advertising revenue surged 33% year-over-year to $56.3 billion last quarter, while the company cut 10% of its workforce and raised 2026 AI capital expenditure guidance to $125–145 billion to support new offerings.
