Mexico annual inflation rate was 3.26% in August

MEXICO CITY, Sept. 9 (Reuters) - Mexican consumer prices rose 3.26% in the year through August, the national statistics agency said on Wednesday.

Consumer prices <MXINFL=ECI> rose 0.20% in August, according to non-seasonally adjusted figures.

The core index, which strips out some volatile food and energy prices, rose 0.16% during the month <MXCPIX=ECI>.
