Michelin said it cut Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions 48% from 2019 levels in 2025, exceeding its 47% reduction target for 2030. Renewable and recycled materials reached 32% of tire content, toward targets of 40% by 2030 and 100% by 2050.
The company targets net-zero emissions by 2050, with plans covering value-chain decarbonization and adaptation to physical climate risks. Its road-use demonstration tires contain 75% renewable and recycled materials for cars and 70% for buses.
