Micron unveils U.S.-based Micron Research Labs with planned $10 billion investment over next decade
MU•Boise campus planned for 2027 groundbreaking
Groundbreaking is expected in calendar 2027 on a facility designed to host hundreds of researchers, anchored by university collaborations and satellite labs.
The investment adds to more than $250 billion Micron has separately committed to U.S. manufacturing and R&D, targeting more than 90,000 jobs.

Micron unveiled Micron Research Labs, a U.S.-based long-horizon research hub headquartered in Boise, backed by a planned $10 billion decade investment.
The flagship Boise campus is planned to support advanced memory, compute architectures, packaging, and future semiconductor manufacturing beyond current technology roadmaps.
