The acquisition was financed with $2.18 billion of perpetual preferred equity and $366 million of at-the-market share sales, pushing it past BlackRock’s iShares Trust.

2. Largest Single-Week Purchase

Last week’s acquisition of 34,164 BTC for approximately $2.54 billion at an average price of $74,395 per coin marked MicroStrategy’s largest single-week purchase in 17 months. This added roughly three-quarters of all Bitcoin held by corporate treasury vehicles to its balance sheet.

3. Financing and Growth Projections

The April buying spree was financed with $2.18 billion from STRF perpetual preferred equity and $366 million from at-the-market share sales. With a 9.5% year-to-date Bitcoin yield and a one million BTC target set by late 2026, the company continues accumulation despite dilution concerns raised by critics.
